London New Railway, a Boon to Tourism
May 23, 2010 is a day to celebrate for most of the Londoners and especially those museums enthusiast. For the new railway line is now open for public transport on the said date. Some of these museum routes are not included in most of the itinerary for it is not easily reached through a railway station but now 8 museums is celebrating the new train transportation for their museum would now be on the top list of London travel packages. Not only that the locals can drop by and enjoy the artifacts and the display in the museum anytime they want without feeling that the museums is out of their way.
The newly opened line will now pass Sydenham, Forest Hill, New Cross Gate and Honor Oak Park, Brockley on goes through Dalston Junction. Indeed May 23 is a day to celebrate for there are 10,000 free tickets given on that day and several groups had planned and hold events on that day along the route.
The Sydenham Society joined in the celebration by riding the 2.09 in the afternoon ride and bought with them several entertainers. Then they ar joined by the Forest Hill members at Forest Hill Station. On this day London attractions has been lifted on to another level of excitement and history making.
London travel planner knows that with this new railway the whole of the district along this way will slowly break into a whole new world ear wherein the districts that were inaccessible by some is now directly connected to Liverpool Street and Whitechapel.
